Wasted Wednesday!

We all need a little help getting through the work week. This drink is marvelous but be careful! Don't have too many in a row or the milk will upset your stomach and NO one wants that.

      JAMAICAN TEN SPEED
1 1/2 oz Malibu® coconut rum
3/4 oz melon liqueur
3/4 oz creme de bananes
1 splash milk
3 oz pineapple juice

Pour the Malibu rum, melon liqueur and creme de bananes into a highball glass filled with ice cubes. Add pineapple juice and a splash of milk. Stir well, and serve. It'll have a pretty green frothy look to it. It is amazingly delish.
Now when I say 1 oz a lot of people not in the bartending world tend to go, "huh?"
It's actually very simple. I work on a 4 count. Some people have a 3, I find 4 is more my style. Pour into a glass and count as you do it. *Start pouring...one, two, three, four." Remember to count slowly but with enough speed that you aren't getting wastfaced off one drink. That's an ounce and so on and so on. 1 1/2 would be for 6. 3/4 is 3. Easy stuff once you get the hang of it and all our friends will be impressed you are so cocktail talented.
xo.
